There’s news on propane production from corn. Does it help in reducing food crisis in the world? Give your opinion on it. Below are some info on it:

Propane (C3H8) is a gas used for heating, power and as an alternative vehicle fuel. It is commonly mixed with butane and other similar gases and is sometimes sold as a compressed liquid under the name “liquid petroleum gas” or LPG. Propane is traditionally produced as a by-product of oil and natural gas processing, but researchers have developed a technique for producing a biopropane from biomass feedstocks.
